Dear Users, I purchased a HITACHI AC (non inverter) of specifications below: Capacity: 1.5 ton Type: split Power consumption: 3 stars Price : 36500/- Date of purchase : 03- Feb-2023 I think installation was not properly done, so within one and half year itself, cooling problem hit us. Dt. 5th May 2024: Maintenance Expenditure as service charge, gas pumping 2500/- Then again cooling problem hit us within 4 months of repair. Dt. 17th Sept 2024: Maintenance Expenditure as service charge, gas pumping 2300/- Still, just after repair, we checked AC cooling but no improvement at all. I feel ... something wrong. My overall expenditure after buying a branded air conditioner is almost 16% within a 19 months of short span. It looks like I am paying for cooling my bedroom for every 4-5 months as we do it by taking some rental air coolers. OMG... And surprisingly, the engineer having several years of experience, says that he is not able to estimate the leakage. Am I purchasing branded items for their output to give me comfort? Or just to sacrifice my hard earned money to run the luxurious lives of service centers? Hello, Hitachi......mind it. I wanted to give ZERO stars.
