Didn’t avail the service. Found something fishy. The infrared sensor of AC indoor unit was not working. The infrared sensor cost less than 50 rupees. He quoted 2800. I asked why is the price so high and what is so technical about it? You just have to solder the IR sensor. Then he say how do you know IR sensor is not working. I said the AC is working with the bypass button. He said that don’t press it because it breaks. The insane price and the fact that it breaks got me! I asked him take the labour charges and just replace the IR sensor. If it doesn’t work. I will pay the full amount. He said no since he touches PCB he will charge the full amount (by the way, it’s not even indoor PCB, it’s digital display). I enquired at some other places. The price was 2500, If PCB was to be repaired. Also, the same price is quoted on Urban Company. If you are not aware about electronics, then you will probably be ripped off!
