Onida Authorised Service Centre

Onida Service in the Udupi district is the worst. Onida has the best products with reasonable rates but what's the point if sales service is terrible? Experience: Both Onida microwave oven and washing machine stopped working the same week. I tried finding the service center on GMaps (because raising complaints on its website is a nightmare and they never send in people, try it out yourself :D). Found this service center to be the nearest one, and they provided me with the phone number of the Udupi Service center. The technician finally visited after a week of continuous follow-up. Microwave oven - he told us we had to change the magnetron, which we received after 2 weeks and the micro oven stopped working the next day of replacement (note this item was not at all sealed in any kind of packaging, it was as if it was removed from another micro oven). he then told us we need to change the other 2 parts as well. Took this complaint to Twitter, and it was very clear that the Bombay team and Udupi team were well coordinated to goof up the customer Washing machine: the interface had to be changed, and it took almost 3 weeks to get a new one (they had to get it from Bangalore to Udupi - 432 km and it took them 3 weeks!!) Onida's service is bad as I saw that the coordinator from Onida HQ was also involved in this mishap

The service went really well And then after 2 weeks we get a call from Onida and their voice wasn't perfectly audible And the person who spoke was literally so rude He just raised his voice They should know how to talk to their customers Please do train this to your employees how to behave in the organisation if they want customer to purchase their products

Can't believe it's a Onida s service point for a city like Mangalore,small office hard to locate and poorly equipped.I had to visit thrice to replace my remote because of non compatibility inspite of carrying along old one . Onida brand seems like a sinking ship if not it has already sunk.

Good service. Note that the staircase has extremely steep steps.

Onida remote purchased with reasonable price and good service
