Review for Star Services World – Technician: Mr. Fayyaz This company is fraudulent based on my experience, and I would strongly advise others to stay away. Mr. Fayyaz came to check my refrigerator. The fan was already functioning properly, but instead of diagnosing and fixing the actual issue (sensor-related cooling problem), he unnecessarily recommended replacing the fan and charged ₹2,500, which is extremely overpriced. After initially stating the charge was ₹2,500, he later came home and demanded an additional ₹300, without prior explanation. Within one day, the refrigerator developed the exact same cooling issue, meaning nothing was actually fixed. When I contacted him again, he returned and suddenly claimed that the IC and other components were damaged, and started quoting changing prices — first ₹3,500, then ₹4,500, and later ₹5,500. This constant change in pricing clearly shows a lack of transparency and honesty. What’s even more concerning is that Mr. Fayyaz pressures customers to leave reviews immediately, right after the visit, even when the issue is not resolved. He repeatedly asks for a review and does not leave until one is posted, which makes me believe that many of the positive reviews for this company are forced or misleading, not genuine. After taking ₹2,500 plus service charges and failing to fix anything, he stopped responding to calls, and the company owner is also unreachable. Now I have to pay another technician to fix the original sensor issue that was never addressed. This experience was frustrating, dishonest, and a complete waste of money. I would never recommend Star Services World or Mr. Fayyaz to anyone.

I contacted Star Services World for a refrigerator issue and was promised a proper inspection and solution. Fayaz arrived but spent very little time actually diagnosing the problem. Instead, he immediately started talking about multiple parts being “weak” and pushed for replacements without showing any proof or explaining clearly what was actually wrong. He asked for money upfront, did not provide any proper bill, receipt, or warranty details, and kept everything verbal. When I asked questions, his answers were vague and confusing, clearly designed to pressure rather than inform. After taking the payment, the service quality completely dropped. There was no follow-up, no confirmation of work done, and when the problem continued, calls and messages were ignored. When I finally got a response, the explanation changed again and I was told more money was required. Another major red flag is how reviews are collected. Fayaz repeatedly insists on customers leaving a review immediately, even before confirming whether the appliance is actually fixed. This makes the online ratings highly misleading and unreliable. Overall, this company shows unprofessional behavior, lack of transparency, and money-oriented tactics rather than genuine repair work. I would never trust Star Services World or Fayaz again and strongly advise others to avoid them.

These guys are fraud. 1. They will overcharge 2. They will try to take money upfront 3. They wont be able to diagnose issue correctly if you have any modern appliance but will diagnose eitherways 3. And will become unresponsive very quickly You will have to keep calling from different numbers just to talk to them
